Extended range for the Ninebot G30 with an extra battery

Important! Watch the video below about firmware before buying a battery pack. If you have locked firmware you need to send in the mainboard for ST-link. It costs 299 kr plus shipping if you send the board in, and 549 kr if you bring the scooter to us. Updates have arrived in the Segway app that stop the scooter from running modified firmware. This can be worked around with ST-link, or by buying a new mainboard. If you have already hacked your scooter there is no problem using this kit, as you can use our firmware. If you are not sure, contact us and we will help you test whether it works, or come by the workshop and we will take a look.

There is also a motor whose serial number has PADH on the middle line (there is a photo at the bottom). In that case we may need the mainboard in to install the firmware. Alternatively, tell us and you will get instructions on how to install the firmware, if it can be done without ST-linking the mainboard.

This kit contains an external battery for the Ninebot G30 models. By connecting an external battery in parallel with the internal one, the range you can ride is extended. You charge as usual and both batteries charge at the same time.

The range depends on how large the external battery is.

We use new quality cells from Samsung or LG in all our kits. Quality cells matter for durability and reliability.

The battery system inside is both shock-resistant and waterproof. The bag supplied is waterproof too.

The scooter does not become faster with this kit — it only gets longer range.

Note that if the scooter is tuned, the range will be shorter.
