When you buy this service you also buy the return shipping. There is always a risk that this will not work if your mainboard is damaged or locked with, for example, the Xiaoflasher premium service — so if you bought it second-hand and do not know whether it is locked, that risk exists. If you have had firmware installed that you are unsure about and the scooter has become locked, it is best to send in both the mainboard and the dashboard so we can unlock them. Send the mainboard to Alexander Fredholm, Nybohovsbacken 21, 117 63 Stockholm, info@wattsnabb.se, 073 747 08 17. IMPORTANT: do not call or text that number — if you have questions, contact info@wattsnabb.se. Send it addressed to a private individual so it can be collected at a service point, and it must be trackable. Send it as an insured parcel. Do not forget to mark your board with the order number you receive when you buy this service.

If your mainboard is limited to 20-25 km/h and you live too far away to bring the scooter in, you can send the board to us and we will unlock it to full speed. You also get one of our firmwares with full speed, battery percentage shown on the display while stationary, charging mode disabled, cruise control, extra power (30 A), motor start at 2 km/h, and free rolling downhill, since we turn off KERS (regenerative braking), which trickle-charges the battery every time you coast downhill without throttle. Police mode can also be selected: you then have to start the scooter with the brake lever held down for it to run at full speed; otherwise it does 20 km/h when started as usual. There is also a motor whose serial number has PADH on the middle line. If you have that motor, write "PADH motor" as a message to us along with your serial number. You can see what one looks like in the product photos above. Important before you send it: check that you do not have an aftermarket mainboard. The photos above show how to tell an original from a copy, and there is a video at the bottom where we show copy mainboards. With a gen 1 motor the top speed will be 30 km/h, and with a gen 2 motor 35 km/h, on a full battery and with at least 55 PSI in the tyres. To find out which motor you have, watch the video below:
