The most common issue with these models is melted connectors. When the  cables connect, they short-circuit everything from the motherboard to  the motor hall sensor. This measure is something you can do yourself and  acts as insurance that if the connectors start to melt, they will not  short-circuit the motherboard or motor hall sensor. This happens due to  overexertion when riding in tough inclines. A common rule of thumb I  adhere to is that if the scooter goes below 13km/h uphill, I need to get  off and walk the last bit.
